I would like to extend a huge thank you to everyone who came along to support our Annual Fun Day and 10K Charity Run on Sunday 12th July.

38 runners took part in the 10k run, with Mark Heard coming home in first place with a time of 38m36s and Alex Payton doing her bit for the girls, coming home in a great 45m35s to claim the ladies trophy. A great day was had by all, with entertainment kindly provided by:  Dave Stickland, Redley Flowerdew, Malcolm Rescorle, The Shipwreck, Rock Skool and Danceworx. More than £500 was raised for FLEET, our largest donation to date, and we would like to thank the FLEET marathon team for also taking part in the 10k run.

A special thanks also goes to Malcolm Rescorle for providing the use of his PA equipment for the day, and to all the staff, guests, members and visitors who supported the event and got involved for a very worthy cause.

Look out for news of our next event, keep 11th September free in your diary!!
